Owner and Medical Director

Farrah McSpadden

Dr. Farrah McSpadden spent most of her childhood near the Current River and still enjoys its scenery while running or spending time there with her husband and children. She is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist and currently serves as the medical director of Aesthetic Nirvana.

Dr. McSpadden pursued specialized training in aesthetic medicine and now works alongside our team to provide high-quality services. Dr. McSpadden also served in the U.S. Army Reserves and was deployed to Kuwait in 2011, where she used her surgical training and skills to care for soldiers.

Dr. McSpadden earned her medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences and completed her residency training at the Grand Rapids Medical Education Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Jody Spain

Jody Spain, APRN, FNP-BC, has fostered a love and commitment to quality in aesthetics for over a decade. She continues to seek educational opportunities and refine her practice. She believes that women feel better emotionally when presenting the best version of themselves, while also recognizing that the most important things in life have nothing to do with appearance.

She is a board-certified nurse practitioner and earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Missouri in 2010. Jody has a strong passion for women’s health, which complements her work in aesthetic medicine.

When she is not working, she enjoys soaking up every moment with her children. She loves to read, hike, run, camp, and cycle.

Leeza Edmundson Smith

Leeza Edmundson Smith, APRN, FNP-BC, is a full-time Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner and a proud joint owner of Aesthetic Nirvana. With a career devoted exclusively to medical aesthetics and advanced injectables, Leeza is most passionate about fostering meaningful connections with her patients and enhancing not only their natural beauty but, even more so, their confidence and inner well-being. She believes in creating a collaborative and welcoming experience that makes patients feel valued, heard, and comfortable.

Leeza earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her Master’s degree from Maryville University. Her background in emergency room nursing uniquely prepared her for a career in aesthetic medicine, instilling skills in rapid decision-making, strong patient assessment, effective communication, and precise attention to detail under pressure. Her extensive education, combined with her dedication to the art and science of aesthetics, allows her to deliver exceptional care tailored to each patient's unique needs.

As both a provider and a business owner, Leeza is honored to be part of a female-owned and operated business, working alongside a team of talented women and professionals. She takes great pride in creating a supportive and empowering environment that embodies Aesthetic Nirvana's mission: "Look Good. Feel Good."

Christian Bowers

With over 18 years of nursing experience and more than a decade as a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, Christian Bowers, FNP-BC, has dedicated her career to enhancing the well-being and confidence of her patients. As a part owner of Aesthetic Nirvana, she brings passion, precision, and a personalized approach to aesthetic medicine.

Since 2019, Christian has specialized in advanced medical aesthetics with a strong focus on facial balancing, skin health management, and injectable artistry. Her refined techniques in harmonizing facial proportions, softening signs of aging, and achieving natural-looking results have made her a trusted and sought-after injector. She combines evidence-based practices with an artistic eye to deliver results that enhance each client’s unique features.

Christian’s passion lies in promoting self-confidence through customized, pro-aging modalities. She believes in embracing the beauty of aging gracefully by using advanced tools and techniques to support her clients’ goals. Her extensive clinical expertise and commitment to individualized care empower her clients to feel confident and radiant at every stage of life.

Her mission is clear: to inspire confidence and help individuals embrace their natural beauty with dignity and grace.

In her free time, she enjoys keeping up with her two energetic boys who are involved in a wide range of activities. From sports practices to school events, they keep her on her toes and constantly inspired. Being their biggest cheerleader is one of her favorite roles!

When she’s not ensuring our practice runs seamlessly, you can find her exploring new destinations, savoring delicious food, and sharing laughter with friends. A true lover of art and music, Crystal’s creative spirit shines through in everything she does. Dominique Pratt

Dominique Pratt is an aesthetic nurse injector with a heart for helping women feel radiant, confident, and beautifully themselves at every stage of life. Her mission is to celebrate pro-aging in a graceful way—because true beauty isn’t about turning back time, it’s about embracing your glow and feeling your best from the inside out.

She continues to work part-time in the Cardiac Cath Lab, an experience that has helped her hone her assessment skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail—qualities that now guide her approach with every patient she meets. She loves taking the time to truly listen, connect, and understand each woman’s unique story, creating an experience that feels as personal as it is empowering.

She has been anxiously awaiting her dream role at Aesthetic Nirvana, where she can blend her medical background with her love for artistry to help women shine with confidence and radiance through every age and every stage of life.

After graduating from aesthetics school in 2017, Holly began her journey as an independent aesthetician, developing a deep passion for results-driven skincare. She joined the Aesthetic Nirvana team in 2020, where her expertise and dedication quickly stood out.

Holly specializes in advanced microneedling techniques and melasma management, and is known for building personalized skin protocols that deliver real, lasting results. Her ability to target and treat complex skin concerns—especially pigmentation issues like melasma—has made her a trusted resource for clients seeking transformation. With a meticulous approach and a genuine passion for skin health, Holly helps her clients achieve clearer, more radiant skin with every visit.

Summer Whitmer

Summer Whitmer is a licensed Medical Aesthetician who began her career in 2020. She specializes in advanced skincare treatments, including Hydrafacials, chemical peels, SkinPen microneedling, and laser services such as laser hair removal, laser facials, and laser tattoo removal.

As a true facialist, Summer is known for her intuitive touch, attention to detail, and ability to completely personalize each facial experience. She combines clinical expertise with a soothing presence to make every treatment both results-driven and deeply relaxing. Her passion lies in helping clients achieve their best skin while also providing a sense of calm and confidence during every visit.

Kristen Lacy

Kristen Lacy has been a licensed aesthetician since 2017 and is dedicated to helping you look and feel your absolute best—inside and out. Her journey in the beauty industry began at Aesthetic Nirvana, where she trained alongside professionals like Jody Spain and Dr. McSpadden, honing her skills and deepening her passion for skincare.

Since entering the field, Kristen has focused her expertise on what she calls a “pro-aging” approach —a thoughtful blend of prevention, correction, and maintenance that keeps her clients glowing at every stage of life. She specializes in pigment correction and excels at helping clients improve skin tone, texture, and overall radiance using proven techniques and treatments.

Kristen’s philosophy is simple: age gracefully with the right care. Whether guiding clients toward healthier skin or addressing specific concerns like pigmentation, she empowers them to embrace their natural beauty at every age.

Outside the treatment room, Kristen is a proud mom of four and grandmother to two, all of whom live in the Poplar Bluff area. Family is everything to her, and she brings that same nurturing, compassionate energy into her work—making sure every client feels genuinely cared for and valued.

From her education in Entertainment Management at Missouri State to her hands-on experience managing social media, Meagan has always had a passion for connecting people to what they love. Raigan Caudel

Raigan is the friendly face you’ll see when you walk through our doors—and she’s so much more than just a front desk coordinator. A 2023 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School, Raigan already has big dreams of becoming an ER nurse. With a passion for healthcare and helping others, she plans to continue her education and one day work in the fast-paced world of emergency medicine. For now, we’re lucky to have her here with us at Aesthetic Nirvana.

Raigan’s energy, adaptability, and attention to detail make her an invaluable part of our team. Whether she’s managing appointments, answering questions, or helping coordinate events, she’s the glue that holds everything together. No task is too big—or too small—for this multitasking pro.

Outside of work, Raigan is an “old soul” who enjoys the quiet comfort of home. She’s a puzzle enthusiast who loves a challenge and often unwinds by playing cards with friends and family or finding peace in her favorite cozy corner.

Maddy is the newest member of the Aesthetic Nirvana family! Born and raised in Poplar Bluff, she brings fresh energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for helping people feel their best. Since joining our team in 2023, she’s jumped right in—supporting our Nurse Practitioners and keeping things running smoothly wherever she’s needed.

When she’s not assisting the team, Maddy is a sports enthusiast through and through. Whether cheering on her sister or reminiscing about her own multi-sport high school days, she knows the value of teamwork, dedication, and giving it her all—on and off the court.
