Farrah McSpadden
Dr. Farrah McSpadden spent most of her childhood near Current River and still enjoys its scenery while running or spending time there with her husband and children. She is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist and serves as the medical director of Aesthetic Nirvana. She sought specialized aesthetic training and works alongside our team in providing our services. Farrah served in the US Army Reserves and was deployed to Kuwait in 2011, where she used her surgical training and skills to care for soldiers there. Dr. McSpadden completed her medical degree with the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Services and her residency training at the Grand Rapids Medical Education Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan!
Jody Spain
Jody Spain, APRN, FNP-BC has fostered a love for and a commitment to quality in aesthetics for well over a decade. She continues to seek educational opportunities and modify her practice. She truly feels that women feel better emotionally when they are putting the best version of themselves forward, while also being aware that the most important things in our lives have nothing to do with appearance! She is a board-certified nurse practitioner and received her Master’s Degree from the University of Missouri in 2010. She works full-time alongside Dr. Farrah McSpadden in their Obstetrical/Gynecological practice and feels that women’s health component correlates nicely with Aesthetic Nirvana. She and Dr McSpadden co-own Aesthetic Nirvana. When she is not working, she is soaking up every second with her children. She loves to read, hike, run, camp, and cycle!
Leeza Edmunson Smith
Leeza Edmundson Smith, APRN, FNP-BC, is a full-time Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner and a proud joint owner of Aesthetic Nirvana. With a career devoted exclusively to medical aesthetics and advanced injectables, Leeza is most passionate about fostering meaningful connections with her patients and enhancing not only their natural beauty but, even more so, their confidence and inner well-being. She believes in creating a collaborative and welcoming experience that makes patients feel valued, heard, and comfortable.
Leeza earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her Master’s degree from Maryville University. Her background in emergency room nursing uniquely prepared her for a career in aesthetic medicine, instilling skills in rapid decision-making, strong patient assessment, effective communication, and precise attention to detail under pressure. Her extensive education, combined with her dedication to the art and science of aesthetics, allows her to deliver exceptional care tailored to each patient's unique needs.
As both a provider and a business owner, Leeza is honored to be part of a female-owned and operated business, working alongside a team of talented women and professionals. She takes great pride in creating a supportive and empowering environment that embodies Aesthetic Nirvana's mission: "Look Good. Feel Good."
Leeza is dedicated to her craft and committed to maintaining the excellence of Aesthetic Nirvana, a trusted aesthetics practice in the area for over 10 years. Christian Bowers
Christian Bowers, FNP-BC
With over 18 years of nursing experience and a decade as a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, Christian Bowers, FNP-BC, has dedicated her career to enhancing the well-being and confidence of her patients. For the past six years, she has specialized in aesthetics, focusing on skincare and injectables to help individuals feel and look their best.
Christian’s passion lies in promoting self-confidence through personalized, pro-aging modalities. She believes in embracing the beauty of aging gracefully, incorporating advanced techniques and treatments to support her clients’ goals. By combining her extensive medical expertise with her commitment to individualized care, Christian empowers her clients to feel radiant at every stage of life.

Holly Vandover
After graduating from aesthetics school in 2017, Holly started her aesthetics journey as an independent aesthetician until joining the Aesthetic Nirvana team in 2020. Holly's strengths quickly began to shine through her ability to build effective skin protocols to address a client's skin care concerns and truly change the skin!

Summer is a licensed Medical Aesthetician who graduated in 2020. Summer specializes in Medical facials like Hydrafacial, Chemical Peels, Skin Pen Microneedling, and Laser services including Laser Hair Removal, Laser Facials, and Laser Tattoo Removal. Her passion is helping clients achieve their best skin through personalized and advanced skincare treatments, all while providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

Kristen Lacy
Kristen Lacy has been a licensed esthetician since 2017, and she’s dedicated to making you look and feel your absolute best—inside and out. Kristen's journey in the world of beauty began with her work alongside renowned professionals like Jody Spain and Dr. McSpadden at Aesthetic Nirvana, where she honed her skills and deepened her passion for skincare. Since joining the field, she’s focused her expertise on what she calls the "pro-aging" approach—a perfect blend of prevention, correction, and maintenance that keeps her clients glowing at every stage of life.
Kristen’s philosophy is simple: age gracefully with the right care, and focus on the long-term benefits of healthy, beautiful skin. Whether she’s helping clients achieve their ideal skin tone or correcting pigmentation issues, she’s got the techniques and knowledge to make a real difference. While she’s passionate about all things beauty, Kristen truly thrives when it comes to pigment correction and helping clients embrace their natural beauty at every age.
Outside of the treatment room, Kristen is a proud mom of four and a grandmother to two adorable grandkids, all of whom live in the Poplar Bluff area (or are still keeping her busy at home). Raigan Caudel
Raigan is the friendly face you’ll see when you walk through our doors, and she’s so much more than just a front desk coordinator. A recent graduate of Poplar Bluff High School in 2023, Raigan is already thinking ahead with big dreams of becoming an ER nurse. With a passion for healthcare and helping others, she plans to continue her education and one day work in the fast-paced world of emergency medicine. But for now, she's here with us, and we’re lucky to have her!
Raigan’s energy and versatility make her an invaluable part of our team. Whether she’s managing your appointment, answering your questions, or helping coordinate our latest event, she’s the glue that holds everything together. Need something done? Madison Hockersmith
Maddy is the newest member of our Aesthetic Nirvana family! Born and raised right here in Poplar Bluff, Maddy brings fresh energy, enthusiasm, and a real passion for helping people feel their best. She joined our team in 2023, and since day one, she’s been all in—working alongside our talented Nurse Practitioners and jumping in wherever she’s needed to keep things running smoothly.
When she’s not assisting our team or making sure our office is buzzing with positive vibes, Maddy’s a sports enthusiast through and through. From cheering on her sister at basketball and volleyball games to reminiscing about her own days as a multi-sport athlete in high school, Maddy is no stranger to the energy and excitement that comes with teamwork and dedication.
