A Nefertiti Lift is a neck and jawline treatment that uses neurotoxin injections like Botox or Dysport to relax the platysma muscle—the broad, sheet-like muscle that extends from your chest up through your neck, creating a more defined jawline and smoother neck appearance.
Why the Nefertiti Lift Works
When the platysma muscle contracts, it pulls downward on your lower face and can create visible vertical bands in your neck and a jowling appearance to the lower face. By strategically placing Botox or Dysport along your jawline and upper neck, the platysma relaxes, allowing the upward-pulling facial muscles to work without resistance. This creates a tighter, more defined jawline, improves jowling and smoothes neck contours.
Why does the Platysma Muscle protrude as we age?

Results: Timeline and Duration
Nefertiti Lift results typically last 3-4 months, which is the standard duration for neurotoxin treatments. While neurotoxins begin working within a few days, most patients see their full results about 2 weeks after treatment.
If you choose Dysport, you may notice improvements slightly sooner (often within 2-3 days) while Botox typically shows initial effects around day 5-7.
We typically recommend follow-up appointments every 3-4 months to maintain your results. Many patients proactively schedule their maintenance appointments before they’ve completely lost their previous effects, which can help prolong the benefits over time.

Who is not a good candidate?

What to Expect After Treatment
